Roadrunner

Roadrunner was an absolute jem of a cartoon, i remember i used to get a video of it from the video shop, they were like 90 minutes long and just full of roadrunner cartoons...good times indeed. If only they still showed them today.

Lords of Bastard

I've seen Lords of Bastard play 3 times now and they are mint! Its hard to describe there style, instrumental rock, with hints of Queens of the Stone Age? maybe...but whatever its loud and fast which is the main thing. Last night was just as good as any other time i have seen em but the crowd was a bit whack, anyway they are really good and are playing again on the 31st at bannermans in edinburgh, check out there myspace.....Lords_of_Bastard

Tom White

I saw a post about Edwin on Cleggy's blog so thought i would post one in honour of Tom White. Tom is street as owt, never mind all these nibbly tricks (dont get me wrong i like them) just full on bangers with more dtf's than ta can shake a stick at!! (dtf = drop to flat), his front cover pic on ride US a couple of issues ago was insane!!

Lucero

Lucero played Nice N'Sleazy's in Glasgow on the 2nd of December and it was sick! a big group of us went trough from Edinburgh. After the show we all got pretty loose in the bar with the guys from Lucero. The show was really small and pretty intimate which made it soo much better, highlights included Barry Gold and Ben from Lucero singing Kiss the Bottle 3 times out in the street and george just being george really, they said they would come back to play scotland again in May..i hope they do
